Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sema Koç was born in 1978 in Ankara. She graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2001, marking the beginning of a distinguished career in the academic field, particularly in Otolaryngology (ENT).

In 2013, she attained her associate professorship in ENT, further enhancing her academic achievements. In 2012, she received training in Da Vinci Transoral Robotic Surgery, a testament to her commitment to embracing advanced medical technologies. Furthering her expertise, in 2014, she completed a master’s degree in Audiology at Yıldırım Beyazıt University, earning the title of expert audiologist.

Professionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Koç served as an ENT associate professor at the Antalya Education and Research Hospital between 2012 and 2015. Her career then took her to the Private Medstar Antalya Hospital from 2015 to 2017, followed by a tenure at the Medical Park Antalya Hospital from 2017 to 2018.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sema Koç is an author and contributor to numerous national and international scientific articles and various books. She specializes in Rhinoplasty (aesthetic nose surgery), snoring and sleep apnea surgery, head and neck cancer surgery,  robotic surgeries,  advanced ear surgeries and implantations, thyroid surgery, correction of protruding ears, and endoscopic sinus surgery. Moreover, she has extensive experience in pediatric ENT diseases, vertigo and balance disorders, voice and vocal cord diseases, salivary gland diseases and cancers, laryngeal cancer, oral cancers, facial skin cancers, thyroid cancers, and other head and neck surgery cancers. She is a valued member of the Turkish Society of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery and the Antalya Medical Chamber.
